Key Responsibilities
The major role of candidates for this position is to put in place a structure that would ensure continuous acquisition and development of new businesses. The right candidates should be able to:
• Generate business ideas in line with the bank's vision and goals
• Formulate strategies to seek, identify , acquire and grow potential businesses
• Assess marketing opportunities and develop product / services that would meet the needs of target markets
• Embark on intelligence gathering on customers and competitors
• Generate leads for possible businesses
• Maintain sound relationships with existing customers to drive new businesses
• Provide strong leadership and direction to staff in the area of responsibility
2. MARKETING & GENERAL MANAGEMENT
• Commercial and Investment Banking
• Retail Banking
• Public Sector
Key Responsibilities
Candidates for these positions should be able to:
• Initiate business development strategies with the primary aim of building up the bank's income.
• Develop new lines of business, targeting untapped business segments and boost team's overall result.
• Initiate and manage business relationships with potential and existing customers
• Drive growth in deposit liabilities and capture a sizeable share of the marke
3. CORPORATE BANKING
Key Responsibilities
Candidates for this position would be expected to perform the following job functions:
• Develop new lines of business, targeting untapped business segments and boost team's overall performance.
• Manage existing relationships.
• Provide strong leadership and direction to staff in the area of responsibility
• Ensure optimal delivery of services to customer
• Maximise market share of the bank compared to competition.
4. RISK MANAGEMENT
Key Responsibilities
Candidates for this position would be expected to perform the following job functions:
• Establish appropriate credit administration framework to ensure proper administration of credit exposures and minimize risk of loss.
• Formulate bank wide credit strategies/policies within the context of the bank's risk acceptance criteria.
• Establish responsive framework to ensure timely identification and management of credit delinquencies.
• Ensure regular appraisal of the bank's credit portfolio to ensure minimum credit loss.
• Champion the development of credit/risk management skills bank wide.
• Provide leadership and guidance to staff in the area of responsibility
